Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is expanding its operations. We are looking for an experienced and talented individual as an QUALITY, SUSTAINABILITY, SAFETY LEAD & CONTROLto join the award-winning Atlantica Belvedere & Atlantica Beach Resort Hotels in Kos island for the season 2025.

The responsibilities associated with quality, sustainability, safety lead, and control are crucial to ensuring a positive guest experience, compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

- Implement a quality management system to monitor and improve service delivery.

- Provide training to staff on customer service and quality standards.

- Develop and implement sustainable practices in hotel operations, such as energy and water conservation, waste reduction, and recycling programs.

- Establish and enforce safety protocols for staff and guests, including fire safety, emergency evacuation procedures, and first aid.

- Conduct regular safety inspections of the premises, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to quality of service, sustainability metrics, and safety records.

- Collaborate with local authorities and industry associations to stay informed about regulations and best practices.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.

Requirements

- College / University degree in Food Technologist/Biologist/Chemicals Engineer or related field

- Previous hotel operations backround will be considered as advantage

- Previous experience with Quality management System implementation (ISO 9001, 22000 & 14001) Minimum 2 years.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in English with an excellent command of the language

- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
